22nd augusti 2021, POSITIVE COVID-19 WORKER ON SITE

RCC are advising you that a worker has returned a positive test result for COVID-19 on the Kokoda Residences Waitara Project. In line with NSW Health Guidelines, RCC has closed the site effective immediately and arranged for cleaning to be completed.

The worker received confirmation earlier today of his positive test to COVID – 19. He immediately informed his supervisor and in turn his supervisor informed RCC Management team. It is important to note that this worker was onsite for the last two weeks including the following dates:
- Monday 9th August 2021.
- Tuesday 10th August 2021.
- Wednesday 11th August 2021.
- Thursday 12th August 2021.
- Friday 13th August 2021.
- Saturday 14th August 2021.
- Monday 16th of August 2021.
- Tuesday 17th of August 2021.
- Wednesday 18th of August 2021.
- Thursday 19th of August 2021.
- Friday 20th of August 2021.

We have been instructed to inform all relevant workers of the case and that they should monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they feel unwell. There will be an initial assessment of all site workers to determine if they are deemed close or secondary close contacts based on the current NSW Health guidelines. This information will inform what further action is required.

Please note that RCC is arranging for the affected areas to be cleaned in line with hygienist guidelines tomorrow 23rd of August 2021 so the site is in a position to re-open as soon as practical following confirmation of close or secondary close contacts. All details will be verified with Health prior to resuming activity onsite.
